Orphan bikes
Mobile , in cooperation with the City of Kortrijk and the Police zone VLAS abandoned and donated bicycles a new destination.
Orphaned or abandoned bicycles are tagged on the streets. If the bike remains untouched for three weeks, it will be picked up and registered with photo and features on the online platform lost or found.
The original owner has three months To apply. You have to apply for the bike online, then you have three days to pick up the bike, best with ownership certificate at hand.
If the bike remains orphaned, it automatically becomes the property of Mobiel. We refurbish usable bikes, use parts or recycle materials.
Donate it yourself?
You may definitely bring a bicycle into our store.
The only condition: it must be suitable for repair.
In this way, we are building together for less waste and more circular mobility.
